What is San Damiano Youth ?
The “San Damiano Youth” (SDY) is a group of young people who want to build a solid life on Christ, to take one more step in their Christian life in the life dynamics of Saint Francis and his call: “Go and rebuild my Church ”.
In Tiberiade, we try to live and respond to this call of Christ through 4 concrete points:
Prayer,
Service,
Mission,
Fraternal Life.
These 4 pillars are places of dynamic growth. Everyone, according to their state of life, can experience this human and spiritual growth, with the community.
The idea is to offer a place where you can: Pray Knowing Christ Train you To grow humanly and spiritually Evangelize Meet other young Christians
In a climate of Joy and simplicity with the Brothers and Sisters of the community. Each year we offer 3 camps (Christmas, Easter, Summer) and 1 weekend per month, on themes that you suggest to us. Prayer groups
For many years, young people have asked us to support them in their daily faith. This is how the Saint Damien prayer groups were born.
These groups are places of prayer and growth of faith that brothers and sisters come to visit regularly. Being open to all, they are very concrete means to evangelize other young people and make them rediscover the beauty of faith.
Prayer groups are present in the large student cities of Belgium.

Summer Camps
Each summer the Fraternity organizes a large camp for young people. Every two years it is an international camp.
These camps promote the meeting of other young Christians from around the world and help to deepen the faith through simple fraternal life, times of prayer, Christian formation and having fun.
